Studio ROOF is a Dutch design studio known for its vibrant, artistic creations made from recycled cardboard and printed with vegetable-based inks—safe for all ages and environmentally conscious. Their products are playful, nature-inspired, and spark imagination in both children and adults.
The most recognizable pieces are 3D wall decorations—brightly colored insects, birds, and sea creatures that arrive flat-packed and are easy to assemble. These serve as both decor and imaginative play tools in children’s rooms, classrooms, and creative spaces.
Beyond wall art, Studio ROOF offers freestanding models of animals and dinosaurs, floral bouquets inspired by masterpieces like Van Gogh’s sunflowers and Klimt’s gardens, as well as whimsical mobiles and masks. Every design blends creativity, sustainability, and storytelling.
Sustainability is central to Studio ROOF's mission. Founded in 2005 by Romy and Ilya, the studio was born from their desire to unite imagination with eco-conscious values, inspired in part by their experience as parents. Today, Studio ROOF products are sold worldwide and admired for their color, creativity, and environmental integrity.
